One day God gave me a good company and we had a nice conversation about Him.
"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." 1Pet.5:7
These statement is a great comfort for a person who really trusts the Lord and casts on Him all difficulties and squabbling. God gave me right words in the right time. The woman was surprised when she saw a young man speaking about God. Probably I looked very happy when I was speaking about the Wonderful God. Then she told me about God and about her prayers to God. She was speaking mostly about her problems and troubles, about her unhappy marriage. I wanted to change the subject, tell her more about our Creator, but could not. I saw great sorrow in woman's eyes. I continued listening.
We Christians have a great advantage to tell God about all our troubles. That is why we often do not understand people who can not do this. They try to reveal all to other people, who can listen and show compassion and sympathy.
"Pray for me, young man, I need this", asked me the woman finally. I realized what a great gift we have from God. We can not only receive His forgiveness and salvation, but put our joys and sorrows into his pierced hands. He promised to give peace and relief and He always keeps His promise.

I met a man of about 35. His name was Victor. We spoke with him about life and its problems. He was a professional driver. He went to different countries by his truck. He was well paid. He was pleased with his life. I changed the subject and began to speak about spiritual things. Finally I asked if it is possible to live according to the truth and if there is absolute truth. He answered that there is no absolute truth and everybody may live as he wants, according to his customs and upbringing. I used an illustration. I took his cigarette lighter and said that according to my custom I was not going to give the lighter back, I even had the right to kill him. He agreed that this was not right and not just. I said if this was not right it meant that there must be moral laws which must have an Author. There must be One Who created this world. Look at a watch. There must be one who has made it. A watch can not come to being by itself. Victor agreed. He asked what we have to do. I said that we all must be reconciled with our Creator. I told him about Adam and Eve, about their fall. I told him my story how my life changed after I believed in Christ. I told Victor about Jesus on Golgotha, why He died for us. We just have to accept His sacrifice. We have to admit that we need the Savior and make the first step - repent. I offered him to repent but he said that he was not ready yet. He said that he would wait till his time comes.

One Sunday when I was returning to Minsk from Rogachev by bus I met my former class-mate. His name is Sasha, he is a well educated and decent young man. It took us long to get to Minsk, that is why we had much time to speak about God.
Sasha doubted if God exists. He asked me why there are no sacrifices now like in the Old Testament. I explained him that Jesus paid for all our sins. I did not press down on him, I respected his views, but step by step explained him the biblical teaching. He wanted to understand many things but his lack of faith did not allow him to see the truth. I pray that God opens his spiritual eyes and gives him salvation.

This happened one Friday. I took a bus and discovered that it brought me to a wrong place. I got off the bus and had to walk to the next stop. On the way I met an elderly man and felt a strong desire to speak with him. I took the John Gospel out of my bag and offered him to read the book. He asked how much this would cost. When he heard that the book would cost him nothing, he took the book for his wife. I asked him what literature he liked to read. He answered that he read historical books. I gave him a small book about the Reformation in Belarus. He did not know anything about the Reformation and I tried to explain him what it was and when and what was the purpose. I mentioned Francisk Skaryna and he recognized the name, but he did not know anything about the printing pioneer in our country. He did not guess that the book F. Skaryna printed was the Bible, which he translated into Belarussian. My interlocutor was very surprised. He asked what were results or benefits of the Reformation in our country. I explained him and asked if he admitted that he was a sinner. He said that he was a bad sinner. I explained him the way of salvation through Jesus. He had just to accept His gift and have faith in what Jesus had done for him. He promised to think about my words at home and ran away because his bus came.
Even when we loose our ways God stays with us and works through us, gives blessings to other people. We often do not understand God's will, but it is so!

I wanted to tell "The Four Spiritual Laws" to somebody, but there was nobody. I realized that I did not pray! How could I do God's work without prayer, without His blessing! I got in the bus and prayed.
In the bus I saw a woman. She seemed to be lonely and unhappy. I took place next to her and initiated our conversation. I told her about myself and she began asking questions. I told her my testimony and "The Four Spiritual Laws". She liked how quickly I found different verses in the Bible and she became more open. She told me about herself and her family.
When I told her about Jesus and ten commandments, she told that she keeps some commandments but not all. It is so hard to keep God's laws. I agreed but explained that with faith and prayer it is possible. I explained her what prayer means. We had much time. I recited many Christian poems for her. The woman cried and was very excited. She wanted to pray with me. She was praying for the first time in her life, but she glorified and praised God. I prayed for the woman and for her family, for he husband and children.
I hope that the woman is saved, that she invited Jesus in her life sincerely and will live with Him. Pray for Tatyana and for her family.

I prayed to God asking Him to send a person who needed to hear His word. I was eager to share it.
I wanted to go to my ministry field on Friday but then had to wait until Saturday. I was to go from the bus station in Minsk but I didn't know where it was situated. Coming to the nearest metro station I asked people how to get to the station. A girl came to me and said that she could show me the way. We asked each other about educational institutions we studied. I said I studied at Bible College. Her reaction was positive. I realized she was eager to listen to me and that she was the person who needed to hear about God. I told her about the church, youth meetings. I said also that we had different conferences and camps.
We came to the station. I suggested that we could continue our conversation after I took a ticket. She agreed. I shared "4 spiritual laws" with her. I also invited her to the church. She said though she would not betray her faith. I asked her "What is faith?" She couldn't give an answer. Then she told me about her problems and anxieties. She said she felt relived after talking to me. It was time for me to leave. We exchanged addresses.
On the bus I thanked God for sending me that girl. God gives us strength and words when it's necessary.
